If a tax deductible rental expense at an affordable monthly rate appeals to your business sense, renting office furniture may be for you.
We do have a Housewares Package available that may be added to your furniture package that includes most domestic items needed when setting up a new residence. You may view the list of goods available in our Housewares Package here.
At this time, the Housewares Package is available only in conjunction with furniture rental and cannot be leased separately.
We do offer flexible short-term lease options at Northeast Furniture; however, please understand that our best lease rates are available to those committing to minimum lease lengths of four months or longer. Shorter term lease lengths are available, but are subject to a somewhat higher rental rate.
We require the completion of a credit application to establish all new accounts and we do seek those that are considered to be credit worthy. In the event of any credit concerns, we will accept co-signers. Commercial credit qualifications are similar to those for personal accounts in that we would ask for completion of either a commercial credit application or a trade reference sheet from your organization. In the event your organization has been in business for less than one year, a personal guarantee will also be required.
Establishing a personal account with Northeast Furniture simply requires the completion of a personal credit application, along with payment in full of all initial charges. For establishment of a commercial account, you may choose to complete a commercial credit application or provide us with a trade reference sheet from your organization. In the event your organization has been in business for less than one year, a personal guarantee will also be required. The prompt return of your completed credit information as well as the payment of all initial charges will help expedite the order placement process and ensure delivery on your requested date. Please allow additional time for the processing of all commercial credit applications.
At the time your lease is written, you will be asked for charges for the first months rent, a security deposit equal to that amount, a one time fee for delivery (which includes all furniture set-up as well as the complete pick-up at the end of the lease term), and a one time fee, if necessary, for the set up of your housewares package (if included).
We do require verification of renters insurance covering rental furniture be provided to us prior to delivery. Should you choose not to purchase a renters insurance policy, we do offer the option of a liability waiver fee. The liability waiver fee acts in lieu of renters insurance and releases you from any damages that may occur from fire, or subsequent water and/or smoke damage. It does not cover theft, vandalism, water damage unrelated to fire, etc., etc. We do recommend that you purchase a renters insurance policy to better protect not only our rental furniture, but your personal belongings as well.
Once your account has been established, you may expect delivery of your furniture within 24-72 hours, schedule permitting. Your Account Representative will establish your delivery date at the time your order is placed.
We realize that busy schedules may not allow time to visit one of our showrooms for furniture selection and the completion of initial paperwork necessary to establish your account. In that event, our staff of leasing professionals will happily select your furnishings and oversee completion of your paperwork via telephone and fax machine.
Due to the rapid turnover we experience in furniture stylings and upholstery selections, it is not possible to provide photos of the furniture selections you will receive; our website, however, does display selections similar to what you can expect.
Provided that you contact both a Leasing Representative as well as our Credit/Billing Department, you are permitted to move your rental furniture during your lease term. Please understand, however, that any damages incurred in doing so will be subject to damage charges being posted to your account upon inspection at the time of final pick-up.
During the term of your lease, should you have items that for whatever reason may require service or replacement, contact your Account Representative and he/she will initiate the necessary service call or furniture switch-out to be scheduled.
If, during your lease term, you have need to add additional items or wish to upgrade your selections, you may do so by contacting one of our Leasing Representatives for pricing. A modest rental change fee is assessed for all non-service related furniture changes.
Because Northeast Furniture is a short-term leasing company and not a rent-to own company, we do not offer purchase options on any of the furniture you will receive. We do, however, have a Clearance Center at our central distribution center in Akron, Ohio, where you may purchase new furniture and accessory items as well as gently-worn rental return furniture.
Although we are primarily a furniture rental company, we do have a large Clearance Center at our company’s central distribution center located in Akron, Ohio. Our Clearance Center offers both new furniture and accessory items as well as gently -worn rental return furniture. With prices at a fraction of what one may normally find when shopping for furniture, we feel we offer substantial value for your home furnishings dollar. Home delivery service for sale items is available for your convenience as well.
We prefer a thirty day notice of your intent to end your furniture lease with us so that your pick-up may be scheduled accordingly. You may contact our Credit/Billing department to both schedule your pick-up as well as provide your forwarding address for the return of your Security Deposit.
